Mrs.Hoffman was born Jan.20;1915;in California;Pa.a daughter of the late Shirley and Pearl Curl Griffith. A lifelong area resident;she was a member of the Pricedale Union Church. Mrs.Hoffman was preceded in death by her husband;Steve H.Hoffman;on May 25;1965;by a grandson;Lonnie Greenwood on April 9;1979;by two brothers;Thomas and Louis Griffith and by a sister;Bertha Jones. Surviving are one son;Thomas (Tim) Hoffman;and one daughter;Mrs.Benjamin (Karen) Greenwood;both of Belle Vernon;R.D.4;three sisters;Mrs.Gertrude Kissler of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Edna Godfrey of Speers and Mrs.Doris Hall of Speers Hill;and four grandchildren;Timmy Hoffamn;Donna Adams;and Larry and Scott Greenwood. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with Pastor David Reeves of the Pricedale Union Church officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
