Obituary

Wilma E. Falbo, 87, of North Belle Vernon, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, in Riverside Nursing Center, McKeesport. A daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth Springer Rickert, she was born April 29, 1920, in Detroit, Mich. Mrs. Falbo was an active member of the Smithton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years until her last illness confined her to a personal care home seven years ago. Wilma, along with her late husband, had owned and operated the former Broad Avenue Cleaners in Belle Vernon for many years. Survivors include one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph and Norma Falbo, of White Oak, and one nephew, Larry Falbo, of Erie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore Falbo, in 1984, three brothers and three sisters. A memorial service will be Sunday, Aug. 26, at 3 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Smithton with Elder Jack Bauer officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
