Born in Crawford County;Ga.he was a retired employee of United States Steel’s American Steel and Wire Division;Donora;and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and the chruch Trustee Board;Monessen. Mr.Williams resided in Monessen the past 50 years. Surviving are his widow;Idabell;one daughter;Myrtle Wilcox of Monessen;one brother;Dalton Jones of Atlanta;Ga.;one foster daughter;Grace Scott of Monessen;two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;Monessen between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and Friday. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.in Fellowship Church;Monessen;with the Rev.D.D.Chapman officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
