Born June 4;1902;in Marcella;Ga.;he was a son of the late William and Mattie Tinsley Reed. A resident of Donora for 50 years;Mr.Reed was a former employee of the former Donora Plant of U.S.Steel Corp. He was a member of St.Paul Baptist Church and Mon Valley Lodge 208;IBPOE of W;both of Donora. Surviving are one son;Robert Harness;serving in the U.S.Army at Fort Bragg;N.C.;four uncles;Charles Tinsley;with whom he made his home;and Mack;James and Jack Tinsley;all of Winston-Salem;N.C. Friends will be received after 2 p.m.Sunday at the Percy E.Law Jr.Funeral Home;1324 Meldon Ave.;Donora;where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.W.E.McBrayer;pastor of St.Paul Baptist Church;Donora;officiating.
