William “Bill” Allen, 87, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026 at Jefferson Regional Hospital following a brief illness.
Bill was employed for many years as a software developer, first with Fox Grocery and later with Highmark. A devoted sports fan, he especially enjoyed attending Pitt and Pittsburgh Steelers games with his sons and proudly held season tickets for a number of years. Those outings were among his most cherished times.
Bill served in the military with the International Air Guard and was a member of HOPE Church in Belle Vernon.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Donna (Hollick) Allen; his son, Darrick Allen; and his two beloved granddaughters, Lilah Allen and Quinn Allen, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his sister, Lois (Ken) Keener.
In addition to his parents and two brothers, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Branden Allen, in 2019.
