William Vance,aged 51 years,477 Donner avenue,died Thursday,Sept. 18,1952 at 4:30 p.m. following a sudden heart attack. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 2399,of Monessen,and the American Legion,Thomas McKee Post. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Vance;two daughters, Bertha at home and Mrs. Boyd Regale of Franklin; a son, Jack of Monessen; three grandchildren;two brothers, Fred of Monessen and Thomas of Belle Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Gus Carlson and Mrs. Robert McLaughlin of Monessen. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home,262 Donner Avenue,Monessen. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the funeral home,with Rev. Abner P. Richard,pastor of the First Presbyterian Church,in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin F. Melenyzer,funeral director.
