William K. Corbett,83,of House 6, Pricedale,died Tuesday, Nov. 24,1959 at 4 p.m. in the Brownsville General Hospital. He was born in Europe,April 19,1876. He was retired from work at Somers No. 4 Mine in Pricedale in 1946 and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He had lived in Pricedale since 1927. Survivors include his wife, Sarah; sons, James K. of Houston Run, Joseph of Belle Vernon,George K. with the U.S. Air Force stationed in San Antonio, Tex.,and Paul of Bentleyville R.D.; daughters, Mrs. William (Mary) Fowler of Leetsdale, Mrs. Jack (Josephine) Moore of Leisure City, Fla.,Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Radek and Mrs. John (Helen) Pierce of Pricedale. Thirty-six grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren also survive. Friends are being received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 27,at 10 a.m. from St. Sebastian R.C. Church,Belle Vernon, with the Rev. Andrew King officiating at Requiem Mass. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby Ferguson,funeral director.
