William Underwood of 408 Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,died in Charleroi-Monessen hospital Friday,January 21,1955,at 3:45 p.m. He was employed by Corning Glass Works. He is survived by his wife,oSarah Underwood,one son,Harold of Lynnwood,a stepson,Morris Godissart of Charleroi,a brother,Samuel of Rices Landing and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home. Services will be held there Tuesday,January 25,1955,at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. J.F. Bellville. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
