William Thomas Hamer of Fairhope,Fayette City,R.D.1,died Sunday,July 31,1949,at 7:30 a.m.in the Hamer Coal Mine in Washington Township He was born in Wales,September 16,1887. He is survived by his wife Ethel,two sons,Donald at home,and Robert of Grindstone,one sister,Mrs. Margaret Driscoll of Fayette City;and five brothers, James,for whom he worked,Edward of Uniontown,Samuel of Fayette City,Robert and Richard Hamer of Fairhope. Mr. Hamer was a member of Fairhope Presbyterian Church.Friends will be received at the Toner Fuenral Home. Services will be held there Wednesday,August 3,1949,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. George Guest. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. John L.Bake is the funeral director.
