Obituary

William Sopsic,47,of Fayette City R.D.1 died suddenly at his late home Thursday,Oct.10,1963,at 4:30 o'clock of heart failure. Mr.Sopsic was born in Washington Twp.,Fayette County,on July 3,1916. A steel mill laborer,he was a member of St.Edward's R.C.Church of Fayette City and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are two sons,William Jr.and Raymond,both at home,his father,Pete,Sr.of Fairhope,two brothers,George Kowasic of Fayette City R.D.1,and Pete Sopsic Jr.,of Belle Vernon,three sisters,Mrs.John (Mary) Jarsulic,and Mrs.Steve (Katheryn) Misher,both of Fayette City R.D.1,and Mrs.Frances Vernaccini of Washington,D.C. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Prayer there Saturday,Oct.12.,at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Requiem Mass at 10 a.m.in St.Edward's R.C.Chruch,Fayette City. The Rev.Elmer Kacinko will act as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory,Funeral director.
