William R.Ragan;57;of Lenity School Rd.;Belle Vernon;R.D.1;died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;Friday;March 22;1963;at 9:30 a.m.  He was born in Maryland;May 6;1905;and spent most of his life in the Belle Vernon area.  He was employed as a crane operator at the Donora mill of the American Steel and Wire Co.  Survivors are his widow;Irene Ragan;one son;William Ragan of Sunnyvale;Calif.;five daughters;Mrs.Geraldine Aganeti;of Blacklick;PA.;Mrs.Mildred March;of Donora;Mrs.Betty Frew;of Blairsville;Mrs.Caroline Shaffer;of Latrobe;Mrs.Mary Lou Evans;of Belle Vernon;R.D.1;two brothers;three sisters;19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the James C.Stump Funeral Home;Sweeney Plan;Rostraver Twp.  Services will be held there Tuesday;Mar.26;at 3 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Atney Dickerson;pastor of the Bible Baptist Church;Rostraver Twp.  Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.  James C.Stump;Rostraver Twp.is the funeral director.
