William Ronald Ron Furlong; 68; of Fallowfield Township; passed away Friday; Nov. l7; 2006; in Mon Valley Hospital. Ron was born Jan. 3l; l938; in Brownsville; the son of the late William Franklin Furlong and Nellie McMaster Furlong Stiveson. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Lee Supply Company in Charleroi. Surviving by two sons; Kevin and Craig Furlong; both of Fallowfield Township; a brother; Edward Furlong; of Uniontown; two sisters; Mrs. Jack (Barbara) O’Savage; of Roscoe; and Mrs. Bob (July) Luda; of Parma; Ohio; grandchildren; Ashley and Kaitlin Furlong; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Norma Jenkins Furlong.
