Obituary

William Richard Sutton,44,of 133 McKean avenue, Charleroi,died suddenly of a heart ailment Wednesday,October 7,1953. He was walking along McKean avenue when he was stricken.  He was pronounced dead on arrival at Charleroi-Monessen hospital where he was removed by ambulance. Mr. Sutton was born at Fayette City,Sept. 13,1909.  He was employed at the Allenport mill of the Pittsburgh Steel Company. He served in World War II. He is survived by his wife,Irene Mitchell Sutton;his father,O.C.Sutton,1011 Thomas street,Monongahela,and an aunt,Mrs. Leah SA. Taliaferro,of Holly,Mich. Friends will be received at the Schrock Funeral Home,Charleroi,from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday,1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Friday.  Funeral services will be held at the Schrock Funeral Home,Saturday,Oct. 10,at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. Robert Laing,pastor of Charleroi Methodist Church.  Burial will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
