A member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City;he was a member of the Naomi Athletic Club. Survivors include one brother;Raymond Sopsic of Fayette City R.D.1;and an aunt who raised him;Christine Dempsey of Fayette City R.D.1. Friends will be received in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.;Fayette City;on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.;and Wednesday until 9:30 a.m.;when a Prayer service will be held;followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.in the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Leonard J.McAlpin as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. The Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
