William R. Mattey; 59; of Belle Vernon; died Sunday; April 24; 2011; in UPMC Shadyside Hospital. He was born May 19; 1951; in North Charleroi; a son of the late John C. and Rosalia Lil Constantino Mattey Sr. He was formerly employed as a mechanic at Tri-County Muffler and Brakes. He is survived by two sons; Justin and Eric Mattey; both of Rostraver Township; his ex-wife and friend; Rebecca Gelzhiser; a granddaughter; Dynera Hoselton; two brothers; John C. Duke Mattey Jr.; of Smithon; and Tom Mattey and wife; Cindy; of Fellsburg; a sister-in-law; Jill Matey; and the following nieces and nephews; T.J. Mattey; Missy Jarvis; and John; Jackie and Jennifer Mattey. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday; April 28; at the L.L. BARTHELS FUNERAL HOME INC.; Second Street; Smithton. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. in the funeral home on Friday; April 29. Burial will be held in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
