William R.Hawker;79;of Perryopolis R.D.2;died Friday;Dec.31;1993;at 7:30 a.m. in Brownsville General Hospital. He was born in Jefferson Township;Fayette County;on April 13;1914;son of the late Robert R.and Lelah Lynch Hawker. Mr.Hawker was a member of Little Redstone United Presbyterian Church;Fayette City R.D. He was a retired self-employed service station operator in Speers and Fayette City. In addition to his parents;he was also preceded in death by a brother;James P.Hawker;in 1981;and his wife;Valeria Gollick Hawker;in January 1985. Surviving are;one son;William R.Hawker Jr.of Perryopolis R.D.;three daughters;Marilyn Wolfe of Uniontown and Kay Mosser and Lelah Sheppard;both of Perryopolis;one sister;Mrs.Alex (Helen) Sethman of Carmichaels;and 11 grandchildren. Friends will be received all day Sunday in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Main Street;Fayette City;and until 11 a.m. Monday;the hour of services in the funeral home with the Rev.Susan Speakman of Little Redstone Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
