Obituary

William P. Vivian of 1215 Walnut St.,Monessen,died at 4:32 a.m.,Wednesday,March 7,1984,in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Twp.  He was 80. Mr. Vivian was born Aug. 17,1903,in Monessen.  He was an employee of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation until his retirement 20 years ago.  Mr. Vivian was a Catholic by faith. He was a member of the Croatian Club,Monessen.  Mr. Vivian was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Andrews. Surviving are his wife,Margaret Fedor Vivian,at home;one son,William L. Vivian of Bridgeville,Pa.;one daughter,Mrs. Nick (Irene) Stanish of Cleveland,Ohio;two brothers,Batista Vivian of Belle Vernon and Ernest Vivian Sr.of Long Branch;and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Minivoti of Clarksville,Pa. and Mrs. Florence Benny of Portage,Ind. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home,Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.  Services will be held at 10 a.m.Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Traynor,assistant pastor of St. Cajetan Roman Catholic Church,Monessen,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Rhome Funeral Home,Inc.,is in charge of arrangements.
