William O;Forsberg;87;of Belle Vernon R.D.2;died Thursday;July 13;1995;in Jamieson Hospital;New Castle. He was born in Rankin;Sept.2;1907;a son of the late Otto and Selma Eck Forsberg. Mr.Forsberg was a member of Monessen Lutheran Church and the Croatian Club of Monessen. He spent most of his adult life in Monessen. He retired in 1970 from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Plant in Monnessen. Surviving are four nieces;Elizabeth Hamilton of Belle Vernon;Ruth Homa of Belle Vernon;Ruth Hughes of Monessen and Doris Fox of Avon;Ohio;and three nephews;Robert Allen of Belle Vernon;Donald Forsberg of Monessen and Edward Forsberg of Peryopolis. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by four brothers;Ernest;Oscar;Eric and Edward;and four sisters;Jennie Allen;Anna Forsberg;Christina Forsberg and Louise Grouser. Friends will be received in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 2:30 p.m.with Pastor John Furno of Hope Memorial Lutheran Church;Smithton;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
