Obituary

William Milton Doyle Jr., 55, formerly of Charleroi, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach, California. A son of the late William Milton and Retha Mae Lewandowsky Doyle, he was born on Feb. 10, 1955. For the past 30 years, he has been a resident of California, living in San Diego and Costa Mesa, and was employed by the American Heritage Foundation, a professional fund-raiser. William was a 1973 graduate of Charleroi Area High School. He attended California University and Duquesne University, where he played football and baseball for each, and was the only left-handed pitcher and punter on their teams. Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law, Patricia A. Doyle, of North Charleroi, and Kathleen Doyle and Gary Faieta, of California, Pa., nieces, Tracey Osman and husband, Paul, Michelle Mollenkamp and husband, Aaron, Melissa Vrable and husband, Larry, nephew, Michael Faieta and wife, Lacey, great-nieces and great-nephews, Hailey Mae Osman, Lance Mollenkamp, Chase Mollenkamp, Abigail Vrable, Katlyn Faieta, and Andrew Drew Faieta. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forest Doyle and Anna Mae Beatty Doyle, Edward Lewandowsky and Evelyn Linderman Lewandowsky.
