William M. Malec; 71; of Monessen; passed away on Sunday; Dec. 19; 2010; in Forbes Hospice; Pittsburgh. He was born on Oct. 27; 1939; in Monessen; son of the late Walter and Mary Susick Malec. Catholic by faith; William was a self-employed cabinetmaker and prior to that was employed by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He is survived by his wife; Clemmie Wisyanski Malec; two daughters; Valerie (Ronald) Galilei; of Monessen; and Vanessa (Randy) Ware; of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren; Travis; Raquel and Rosalyn Burger; Tara and Shanel Ware; Samantha Moody and Scott Thomas; two stepgrandchildren; Scott Galilei and Lea (Brian) Messina; one brother; Ronald Malec; of Buena Vista; two sisters; Patricia Zelensky; of Charleroi; and Darlene Healey; of Monongahela; and a son-in-law; Rick (Anita) Moody; of Uniontown. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one daughter; Vicki Moody; and two brothers; Walter and Robert Malec. Private services were held Tuesday; Dec. 23; in the CARL J.
