William M.Doyle of North Charleroi died Thursday;Oct.13;1988;at his home. He was 61. Mr.Doyle was born Aug.8;1927;in Charleroi;a son of the late Forrest and Anna Mae Beatty Doyle. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church;VFW Post 167;American Legion Post 22 and F&AM Lodge 615;all of Charleroi. Mr.Doyle was also a member of Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite;Syria Temple;Mon Valley Caravan No.17;the Slavic Citizens Club of North Charleroi and United Steelworkers Local 1229. A U.S.Navy veteran of World War II;he was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Monessen plant. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother;Carl Doyle;and by a sister;Evelyn Watkins. Survivors include his wife;Retha Mae Lewandowsky;a son;William M.Doyle Jr.of the state of California;two daughters;Patricia Westwood of Dunlevy and Mrs.Gary (Kathy) Faieta of Columbus;Ohio;three sisters;Thelma Albright and Beatrice Grant;both of North Charleroi;and Genevieve Reynard of Omaha;Neb.;and four grandchildren;Tracey Ghilani and Michelle;Melissa and Michael Faieta. Friends will be received Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home;Inc.;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where services will be held Monday;Oct.17;at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Paul R.Milliken;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home;Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
