William L. Trenk; 52; of Belle Vernon; went to be with the angels on Saturday; May 8; 2004. He was born April 19; 1952; in North Charleroi; a son of the late William Trenk and Helen Melanowsky Trenk; who survives and resides in Fairhope; Belle Vernon. He was a member of The Christian Center of Belle Vernon. Mr. Trenk was a veteran of the U.S. Army; having served in Germany during the Vietnam. He is survived by his children; Douglas Trenk; currently serving with the U.S. Army in Okinawa; Japan; and Charles Trenk and Rosemary Trenk; both of West Newton; two sisters; Linda Rathway and husband Ray of Perryopolis R.D. and Michelle Moody and husband William of Fayette City; his former spouse; Sarah Montgomery Trenk of West Newton; and many nieces and nephews and other family members. He will also be sadly missed by his beloved companion; Tiki. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; on Monday from noon to 9 p.m. and Tuesday; May 11 until 11 a.m.; when funeral services will take place with the Rev. John Derrico Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery with full military honors by American Legion Post 484; Fayette City. The Rev. Father Leonard McAlpin will hold a vigil service in the funeral home on Monday at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers; the family requests memorial donations to: Christian Center Building Fund; Ridge Road; Belle Vernon; Pa. 15012.
