Obituary

William J.Posic,61,of 2619 North Ave.,Parma,Ohio,died Thursday,March 8,1973,at 8:05 p.m.in St.Jude Convalescent Home,Cleveland,Ohio. He was born in Versailles on Aug.28,1911,and had been employed as a custodian at Washington National Episcopal Cathedral,Washington,D.C.,until about six months ago when he became ill. Surviving are two sons,William J.Posic Jr.of Cleveland,Ohio and Thomas M.Posic of Arlington,Va.,three daughters,Mrs.Daniel (Winnifred) Praskavech of Parma,Ohio,Mrs.Lewis (Rosalie) Crow of Cleveland,Ohio and Mrs.Shawn (LuAnn)Hopson of Arlington,Va.,two brothers,Joseph Posick and Matthew Posick,both of Fairhope,six sisters,Mrs.Fred Krieger of Kensington,Md.,Winifred Bell of Florida and Mrs.Albert Hasco,Mrs.Katherine Billy,Mrs.Rose Salotti and Virginia Posick,all of Washington,D.C.and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,after 7 pm.Saturday where Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Monday at 9:30 a.m.followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m.at Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City,with the Rev.Stephen J.Drab,pastor,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
