Obituary

William J.Black,76,of Allenport,who suffered a heart attack at his home,was pronounced dead on arrival at the Charleroi-Monessen hospital,Thursday,December 11,1958,at 4:45 p.m. He was born in Scotland,February 22,1882,and was a retired employee of the Allenport plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Company. He was a member of the Clan Grant #215,Donora. He is survived by his wife,Mabel Black,one son,Albert of Allenport,two brothers,James of Sarver,Pa.,and Donald of Monaca,and one granddaughter. Friends wil be received at the McCrory Funeral Home. Services will be held there December 15,1958,at 2:30 p.m.,in charge of Rev.Lester Crum of the Dunlevy E.U.B.Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The George M.McCrory and Son Funeral Home is in charge.
