William J.Hickey;83;of 18 Speers street;Speers;died Wednesday March 9;1955;at 3:10 a.m. Mr.Hickey was born September 12;1871;and was a member of the Speers Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife;Mattie Davenport Hickey;three sons;William J.Hickey;Jr.of Fayette City;Thomas of Bedford;Ohio and Elmer Hickey of Sewickley;one daughter;Mrs.Herman (Vivian) Blick of Webster;three brothers;Daniel of Marion;Indiana;Thomas of Alexander;Indiana;Clifford of Jackson;Tennessee;one sister;Mrs.J.G.Dill of Colummbus;Ohio;and nine grandchildren. Friends will br received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home. Services will be held there Saturday;March 12;1955;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.David Dayen of the Speers Methodist Church;and Rev.Ralph Lithgow of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.Melenyzer and Shelby D.Ferguson are the funeral directors.
