Obituary

William J.Miller of 518 Fourth St.,North Charleroi,died Thursday,Oct.25,1984,at 1:04 a.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. He was 82. Mr.Miller was born Dec.2,1901,in Monessen,a son of the late Phillip and Mary Baldis Miller. A mid-Mon Valley resident all of his life,he was a member of Saints Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church of Charleroi. Mr.Miller was also a member of the Senior Citizen Club and the Golden Agers,both of Charleroi.He was retired from the Irvin Works of the U.S.Steel Corp and was also a retired crossing guard at the North Charleroi Elementary School. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother,Albert Miller. Survivors include his wife,Evelyn DeSellems Miller,two daughters,Mrs.Bernard (Mary Ada) Zaucha and Mrs.William (Evelyn) Sedlak,both of North Charleroi,one sister,Mrs.Clair (Mary) Anderson of Belle vernon,eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home,819 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi. Blessing Service in the funeral home will be held Saturday,Oct.27, at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Saints Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church with the Rev.Andrew Bialobok as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Friday at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home. The Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
