William Galen,aged 46,57 East Donner avenue,died at his home Wednesday,May 14,1947,at 3:45 a.m. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Belle Vernon and was employed at the Pittsburgh Steel Company. Surviving are his mother,Mrs. Julia Galen,of Johnstown,Pa.;his wife,Ann,and the following children: Mrs. Robert McKeever,Jr.,Belle Vernon;Mrs. Patricia Russo,at home,William Galen,with the U.S.Navy and Myrna Jean,at home. Five brothers and three sisters also survive. Friends are bing received at the late home until 11 a.m.,Saturday,May 17 when the body will be removed to the Melenyzer Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Herbert Mountan,of the Belle Vernon Baptist Church officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L.and Edwin F. Melenyzer,funeral directors.
