William Howard,of 1162 Schoonmaker avenue,was instantly killed early Friday, August 15,1947,when his motorcycle crashed headon with an automobile on Brewery road about a mile and a half from Monessen. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Beulah Howard of Monessen;two sisters,one in Boardenham, Tenn.and Mrs. Emma Jordon of Monessen and one brother residing in Detroit. Friends are being received at the Edith M. Whitaker Funeral Home at 645 McMahon avenue. Services from the funeral home chapel will be held Tuesday, August 19 at 1 o'clock.
