William Henry Jodon;64;of 662 Third St.;Monessen;died suddenly Saturday at 1:30 p.m. of an apparent heart attack. He was dead on arrival at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. His sister;Mrs.Esther Guthrie of Mahaffey;also died on Saturday. Mr.Jodon;born in Barnesboro;was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and Third St.French Club;both of Monessen. He retired in 1967 from the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr.Jodon came to Monessen in 1929. Surviving are his widow;Sylvia Sherry Jodon;a son;Clifford of Speers;one daughter;Mrs.John (Arlene) Sedok of Monessen;four brothers;Ellsworth of Barnesboro;Paul;Eugene and Robert of Monessen;two sisters;Mrs.Eliza James of Barnesboro;Mrs.Louise Stoltz of St.Benedict;two grandchildren. Friends are being receved at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen. Service there Wednesday;Oct.8;at 1:30 p.m. followed by an additional service in Trinity Episcopal Church;Monessen;at 2 p.m. The Rev.Lynn Chester Edwards;pastor;will officiate. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer is funeral director.
