William H.(Bill) Weightman of 307 Johnson Ave.;Belle Vernon (Pricedale);died Saturday;Aug.9;1986; at 11:31 a.m. in Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was 55. Mr.Weightman was born Jan.5;1931;in Pricedale;a son of the late Thomas Weightman (who died April 21;1978)and Clara Hildebrand Weightman;who survives and resides in Belle Vernon. He was employed on the assembly line of the Volkswagen auto assembly plant in New Stanton. Mr.Weightman was a life-long resident of the Pricedale area. He was a Protestant by faith. Mr.Weightman was a U.S.Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a member of Scottdale American Legion Post No.240. Surviving are his wife;Ardith L.Keslar Weightman;two sons;Shawn and Billy Weightman;both at home;three daughters; Roxanne (Michael);Tracy Baker of Norfolk;Va.;and Heidi Weightman of McKees Rocks;one brother;Dale (Babe) Weightman;of Belle Vernon;one sister;Mrs.John (Florence) Shenos;of Donora;and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Ralph (Bud) Weightman. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home;with the Rev. David R.Reeves Jr.;pastor;Pricedale Union Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon.The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
