Mr.Price was born June 5;1911;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late George T.and Hannah Smock Price. A life member of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department;he was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. Mr.Price was a retired employee of Fox Industries;where he had worked as a truck driver. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife;Rachel Mackey Price;on Sept.25;1977. Survivors include two sisters;Mrs.Bessie Holbrook of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Virginia Smith of Charleroi;a step-son;Douglas Roberts of Fairhope;a step-daughter;Mrs.Ronald (Elaine) Baughman of Lower Burrell;six grandchildren;two great-grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Saturday;Jan.15;at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Charles LaPlaca;pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon;officiating.
