William Frederick Guder;83;of 204 Third St.;California;Pa.;died in Brownsville General Hospital on Sunday;Jan.12;1964 in Brownsville General Hospital. He was born in Germany Nov.12;1880;a son of the late Henry and Amanda Lobeck Guder. He was a member of the California Methodist Church and United Mine Workers of America Local 1787. He retired as a coal miner in November;1946. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Effie Guder;California;two sons;Walter Guder of Brownsville;and William Guder of Cleveland;Ohio;one brother;Charles Guder of Zanesville;Ohio;one sister;Mrs.Tillie Lehew;Belle Vernon;nine grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Caleffie and Greenlief Funeral Home;Fourth and Wood St.;California;Pa.;where a service will be held Wednesday;Jan.15;at 1 p.m. The Rev.William Garland;pastor of California Methodist Church;will officiate.
