William F. Wilkinson; 79; of Charleroi; died Saturday; April 29; 2006; at 8:05 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born April 15; 1927; in Hunker; he was the son of the late Russell E. Sr. and Martha Alma Keefer Wilkinson. A resident of Charleroi for the past 54 years; Mr. Wilkinson was a retired decorator from Corning Glass in Charleroi and was a very devoted husband; father; grandfather and great-grandfather who loved his family dearly. He is survived by his wife; Dorothy Hega Wilkinson; to whom he was married for 54 years; a son and daughter-in- law; William and Sandra Wilkinson; of Charleroi; a daughter and son-in- law; Laura Lee and Chas Pascoe; of Elizabeth Township; three brothers; Lawrence Wilkinson; of Las Vegas; Nev.; Willis Wilkinson; of North Charleroi; and Edgar Wilkinson; of the state of Washington; one sister; Leah Radek of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; Renee Fazekas and husband Don; of Washington; Pa.; Marlene Wilkinson; of South Carolina; Carrie Pfrogner; of Charleroi; and Jeffrey Rhodes and wife Amy; of New Eagle; and four great-grandchildren; Christian and Cooper Pfrogner; Hannah Rhodes and Gavin Fazekas. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Sgt. Samuel Melvin Wilkinson; Russell Ellsworth Wilkinson Jr. and Kenneth Keefer; and two sisters; Jane Fox and Betty Anderson. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). Services will be held Tuesday; May 2; at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. David Zona of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of William F. Wilkinson to the American Cancer Society.
