William E. Steen,aged 68 years,died Wednesday night,August 12,1925,at 11:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter,Mrs. Francis Odbert on Reed avenue. Mr. Steen had been in failing health for the past year and a half. The family resided in Belle Vernon for the past twenty years,but about three months ago came to Monessen to make their home. The widow and three children survive;S.C.Steen of Elizabeth,R.N. Steen of Belle Venron,and Mrs. Odbert of Monessen. The remains will be taken to Belle Vernon where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of the son. John L. Steen,a brother of the dead man,passed away at his home in Mercer county,just one month ago.
