William Edgar Peck, 55, 16 Third St.,Charleroi was pronounced dead on arrival at the Mon Valley Hospital on Thursday, Oct. 11,1979 at 9:25 a.m. Born Nov. 12,1923,in Charleroi,he was the son of the late William J. and Bessie Pierce Peck. A member of the Charleroi Baptist Church,he was a social member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles,and a social member of the Legion Club of Charleroi. He was employed at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport plant. Mr. Peck is survived by his wife, Anna Belle;two sons, Terry Lee Peck of California,Pa.and William Gregory Peck,at home;and one daughter, Mrs. James (Maryann) O'Neil of Charleroi. He is also survived by his brother, George R. Peck of Donora;two sisters, Mrs.Martha Chew of Detroit and Mrs. Myrtle Mugrage of Chraleroi and half-sister, Mrs. Lydia Halligan of Middletown,N.Y. Also surviving are five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home,Inc.,226 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Services will be held at the funeral home,Oct. 15,at 11 a.m. The Reverand James Greathouse of the Charleroi Baptist Church will officiate the ceremony. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
