William Carpenter; 1343
McKean Ave.; Donora; died on Wednesday; Dec. 19; 1990; in
Mon Valley Hospital.
He was born in Birmingham;
Ala.; a son of the late Roy and
Rosetta Carpenter.
Mr. Carpenter was a veteran
of World War II in the U.S.
Navy.
Besides his parents; he was
also preceded in death by two
brothers; Robert and Daniel
Carpenter.
Survivors include two sons; Larry and Anthony Carpenter;both of New York; one daughter;
Linda Carpenter of New York;
five grandchildren; three
sisters; Mrs. Arwilda Mathis of
Monessen; Viola Rollins and
Mrs. Ida Johnson; both of Carroll Twp.; one brother; Cleo
Carpenter of Michigan; and
nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received
Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and
Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. at the Beverly Draper
Funeral Home; 608 6th St.;Monessen. Services will be held in the funeral home on Monday;Dec.24;1990;at 11 a.m.with Rev. Richard Wingfield;pastor of St. Paul Baptist Church of Donora;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Beverly Draper Funeral Home.
