Obituary

William Boulton, 65, of Belle Vernon, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 11, 2007, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital. A son of the late George and Agnes Martin Boulton, he was born in Houtzdale on August 24, 1941. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon and was the president of Boulton Enterprises. Bill had resided in Belle Vernon for the past 44 years, retired from Beneficial Finance Company where he was manager, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Janice Braithwood Boulton, one sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Arnold Dull of Washington Township, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Leigh Ann Boulton in 1988, and two sisters, Emily Bentz and Jean Myers. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, a Golden Rule Member Firm, www.fergusonfuneralhomeandcrematory.com, 724-929-5300, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Suzanne Currie officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
