Obituary

Willaim (Bill) Randall of 204 Hoffman St.,Fairhope, Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,Jan. 11,1984 at 4:45 a.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness.  He was 71. Mr. Randall was born May 12,1912,in Washington Twp.,Fayette County,a son of the late Frank and Freda Mikelson Randall. He was a retired carpenter. Mr. Randall was a member of Local Union 1044 and at one time had served as its vice president. Mr. Randall was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Patrick Randall in 1961. Survivors include his wife,Margaret McDonough Randall; three sons,William Lawrence Randall of Aurora, Colo.,James Richard Randall of Germany and Stephen Robert Randall of Arlington, Va.;six daughters, Mrs.Paul (Mary Kathryn) Mannella of North Charleroi,Mrs George (Anne) Vargo of Sweeney Plan, Rostraver Twp.,Mrs. Jack (Sandra) Fitzwater of Philadelphia,Mrs. Louis (Margaret Alice) Tatsch of Lorain, Ohio,Mrs. Richard (Phyllis) Stammitti  of Akron, Ohio and Miss Virginia Randall at home; 25 grandchildren;ten great-grandchilden; one brother,Eugene Randall of Belle Vernon and three sisters, Mrs. Martha Lintukivi of Finland,Mrs. Helen Tuomi of Fellsburg and Mrs. Martha Lloyd of Fairhope. Friends will be received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer services will be held in the funeal home on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas G. Rinn officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rosary will be recited in the funeral home Thursday at 7:30 p.m.  Church Wake services will be held Friday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.  The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
