William H. Fagan of 113 Lynnwood
Ave.; Belle Vernon; died Tuesday;
May 27; 1986; at 10:30 a.m. in
McKeesport Hospital. He was 63.
Mr. Fagan was born June 14; 1922;
in Donora; a son of the late Malvern
and Nellie Little Fagan.
He was a member of the First
Presbyterian Church; American
Legion Post 659 and F&AM Lodge
643; all of Belle Vernon. He was also
a member of the Uniontown Lodge of
Perfection.
A former mechanic; Mr. Fagan
had been service manager at
Roley’s Garage in Belle Vernon until
retiring in May 1983 because of poor
health.
He was a veteran of World War II;
having served as a staff sergeant in
the U.S. Army Air Force.
In addition to his parents he was
preceded in death by a sister;
Margaret Fagan; in 1981.
Survivors include his wife; Ruth
Stevenson Fagan; two sons; David
W. of MonroeviUe and Robert S. of
New Stanton; one brother; John of
Webster; three sisters; Mary Ellen
Evans of Belle Vernon; Jean Reed of
Monessen and Ruth Fagan of
Donora. and five grandchildren.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the
Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home;
700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon;where services will be held Friday;May 30;at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Charles LaPlaca;pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 services will be held Thursday at 7:15 p.m.in the funeral home;followed by Masonic services by Belle Vernon Lodge 643 at 8 p.m. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
