William B. McGinty of 911 Lincoln avenue,Charleroi,died Saturday,January 31,1953,at 10:25 a.m. Mr. McGinty was repairing steps at his home when he suffered a heart attack,and died enroute to the hospital. He was born in Monongahale,February 9,1896,the son of John B. amd Mary Baxter McGinty. He had lived in Charleroi since the age of three years,and was employed as a watchman at Corning Glass Works. He was a member of St. Jerome's Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Walker McGinty;two sons, John of Monongahela R.D.and William at home,three daughters,Janet Hatton and Mrs. Mary Ann Savarno of Charleoi,and Joyce at home;two brothers,John of Charleroi and James of Detroit;one sister,Mrs. Mary Ann Harron of Detroit and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Slezak Funeral Home. Requiem High Mass will be sung at St. Jerome's Church,Tuesday,February 3,1958,at 9 a.m.,by Rev. James McKeever,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C. Slezak is the funeral director.
