A strict quarantine has been placed in effect at Donora where numerous cases of scarlet fever have been discovered recently. The dread disease is not confined to one section of the town but has cropped out both in the residential and business section and the health officers have great fears that it will spread unless the proper precautionary methods are employed. The first death from the disease was reported on Friday,June 10,1921,when William Bailey, the nine year old son of Rufus Bailey succumbed.
Your condolences will be posted here.
