William A. Konecheck; 95; of Rostraver Township; passed away Saturday; May 30; 2009; in the Donnell House; Washington. A son of the late Nicholas and Minerva Beyer Konecheck; he was born in Belle Vernon on June 19; 1913. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; he was a member of the Tri County F&AM Lodge 643 and the Pricedale Camp in Dents Run; Pa. Bill retired in 1973 from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel Company; where he was the superintendent of maintenance; and worked for many years for the Ferguson Funeral Home; Inc. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law; Katherine and Richard Holland of Gilbertsville; Pa.; and Karen and Frank Jurczak of North Charleroi; one son and daughter-in-law; William N. and Deborah Konecheck of Fredericksburg; Va.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. There will be no public visitation. Private graveside services will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
