William A. Pollard,aged 47 years, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 5,1952 at 11:20 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen hospital following a lingering heart ailment. The deceased was born in Hickory, N.C. and had been a resident of Monessen for the past 16 years. He was employed in the rod mill of the Page Steel and Wire Division. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nelle Pollard;his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.E.Pollard of Maryville,Tenn.;three brothers, Guy and John,both of Maryviile and Worth of the state of California;four sisters, Mrs. Marvin Duke of Atlanta,Ga.,Mrs. L.E. Bible of Knoxville,Tenn.,Mrs. Robert Duke of Augusta,Ga. and Dorothy Pollard of Maryville. Friends are being received at the Harper Memorial Chapel on McKee avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
