William A.Jones;58;of 1031 Highland Manor;Monessen;was dead on arrival at Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital on Saturday at 8:08 a.m. Mr.Jones;a veteran of the U.S.Army Infantry who served during World War II;was born Nov.10;1916 in Primrose;Pa. He was preceded in death by his mother;Nancy Jones;in January of 1957 and his father;James H.Jones;on June 15;1975. Survivors include his widow;Lottie Booker Jones;two sons;Terry Jones and William Jones Jr.;both of Monessen;two daughters;Tina and Willette Jones;both of Monessen;three brothers;Henry Jones of New York City;Colvon Jones of Buffalo;N.Y.;and George Jones of Los Angeles;Calif.;four sisters;Mrs.Alice McCollum and Mrs.Betty Humphrey;both of Pittsburgh;Mrs.Ruth Moorish of Los Angeles;Calif. and Mrs.Nancy Moore of Chicago;Ill.;and an aunt;Mrs.Finley Carson of Belle Vernon. Friends will be recieved in the Percy Law Jr.Funeral Home;Donora;from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday;Aug.11;and in the Antioch Baptist Church in Belle Vernon from 4 p.m.to 10 p.m.Tuesday;Aug.12;and until the time of the funeral Wednesday;Aug.13;at 1 p.m. The Rev.Bertha Sedgnore;pastor of the Pleasant Green A.M.E.Church of Pricedale;will officiate.
