William Davis;88;of Arnold City;died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital;Monday;Aug.10;1954;at 1:30 p.m. He was born in Redstone Township. He is survived by two sons;Charles Davis of Arnold City and Albert W.Davis of Detroit;Michigan;and one sister;Mary Davis of Uniontown. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home. Services will be held there Thursday;August 12;1954;at 2 p.m.in charge of Rev.William Schatz. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.Melenyzer and Shelby D.Ferguson are the funeral directors.
