Obituary
Will Smith, 75,of 643 Locust Ave.,Monessen,died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Saturday,April 22,1966 at 11:30 p.m. Born in Spartansburg, S.C.,on Jan. 1,1891,he had lived in Monessen 30 years. Mr. Smith is survived by his widow, Grace; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Woodson and Victoria Smith of Detroit, Mich.;two sons, Ernest Lee Smith of Youngstown, Ohio and Robert Smith of Detroit; four sisters, Mrs. Carrie Mays of New York City, Victoria Smith,Mrs. Anna Pride and Mrs. Sarah Sullivan,all of Spotenburg,Va.;one brother, Ike of Spotenburg,Va.;eigthteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen. Service there Tuesday, April 26,at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Philip L. Green,pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Connellsville,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
