Obituary

Wilbert Samuel Ferguson,52,of 118 Eighth St.,Monessen,died Friday,July 2,1965,at 2:30 o'clock in Veterans Hospital,Oakland,Pittsburgh. Mr. Ferguson was born in Monessen,Oct.12,1912,and had been a Monessen resident all his life.  He was formerly employed in the fabric department of the Monessen plant,Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was a member of St. Leonard R.C.Church,Monessen;Monessen Council 954 Knights of Columbus;Monessen American Legion Post 28,Monessen Eagles and Disabled War Veterans of America.  A veteran of the U.S.Army,he served in the European theatre of operations during World War II. Preceded in death by his father,Samuel Ferguson in January,1935,he is survived by his mother,Mrs. Anna Drew Ferguson,at whose home he resided;a sister,Mrs. Jack (Margaret) Hornbake,of Miami,Fla.;a brother,James B. Ferguson,of Monessen;four nephews and three nieces. Friends will be received at the R.A.Billick Funeral Home in Monessen.
