Wesley James;69;of Green Hill;Pricedale;died suddenly Thursday;Feb.17;1972;at 9:05 a.m. in Pittsburgh. A retired coal miner;Mr.James had been a Valley resident since 1926. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church of Belle Vernon;serving as a trustee;treasurer of the deacons board and a member of the ushers board. He also was a member of the George Washington Carver AF&AM. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Lois James;his mother;Mrs.Polly James;in South Carolina;one brother;Willie James;in New Jersey;and two sisters;Mrs.Mattie Lou Vance and Mrs.Leona Bryant of Philadelphia. Friends will be received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen;Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held Monday;Feb.21;1972;at 1 p.m.in Antioch Baptist Church;Monessen;with the Rev.A.C.Morris;pastor;officiating.
