Charles Mehalega,66, died Sunday, December 3,1944,at 6:30 a.m.,at his home in Fairhope,following an illness of five weeks. He was a member of the Russian Orthodox Church in Monessen. Survivors are his wife,Theresa;four daughters,Mrs. Mary Pupilli of Belle Vernon,Mrs. Anna Weaver of Greenock,Pa.,Mrs. Julia Dacko of Fairhope and Miss Helen Mehalega at home. One brother,Frank Mehalega,of Cleveland,Ohio and five grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning,December 6,at 10 a.m.,at the home,followed by additional Rites at the Russian Orthodox Church in Monessen with Rev. Theodore Geeza officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L.and Edwin F. Melenyzer,funeral directors in charge.
