Obituary

Warner J Wisyanski, 88, of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, passed away, Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at Jefferson Hospital. He was born on July 7, 1937, in Monessen, son of Elmer J Wisyanski and Elizabeth Nogay Wisyanski. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon and the Polish National Catholic Church of Fairhope, Belle Vernon. He was the president of the board at Center on the Hill in Belle Vernon. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport Plant. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Pesi Wisyanski; daughter, Maureen (Edgar Hughes) Wisyanski of Belle Vernon; stepdaughter, Jodi (Larry) Kubitza of Daisytown; stepson, Jon (Tami) Morigi of Farmington; brother, Vincent (Julie) Wisyanski of Fayette City; brother, Greg (Fran) Wisyanski of Bridgeville; sister, Clemmie Malec of Monessen; sister, Cindy Kotch of Monessen; grandchildren, Paul, Nathan, Daniel, Matthew, Mati, Carley and Dominic; great-grandchildren, Jacob (Linzy), Jurnee (Joshua), Philip (Carley) and Selina; great-great-grandchildren, Lucas and Brady; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Georgia Mae Hissom Wisyanski; and two brothers-in-law, Bill Malec and Robert Kotch. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, at ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, Fayette City, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome. com. Prayers of transfer will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Sebastian’s Roman Catholic Church with Father Anthony Onoko as celebrant. Entombment in his private crypt will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
